Trade Name Rules Management |

Purpose |
The Trade Name Rules Management screen allows a user to add/modify/remove existing Trade Name Rules specific to a trade name being administered. These rules are only validated and reported in the datamart of the registry.

Information Provided |
Trade Name Section - This section allows the user to select a Trade Name and Manufacturer of the trade name in order to add trade name rules to the trade name with fields described below.

Trade Name |
The Trade Name pick list displays all Trade Names in order to add a Trade Name Rule to the trade name that is selected. |

Manufacturer |
The Manufacturer pick list displays all Manufacturers associated with the Trade Name selected in order to add a Trade Name Rule to that specific Trade Name and Manufacturer combination. |
Trade Name Rule Table - This table summarizes which trade names and manufacturers have trade name rules and allows the user to edit and remove trade name rules as described in the table below.

Trade Name |
Displays Trade Names that have associated Trade Name Rules as hyperlinks. Clicking the hyperlink will take the user to the Dose Size Rules tab in order to modify the Trade Name Rules for the Trade Name selected. |

Displays the Manufacturer Code for the Trade Name that has associated Trade Name Rules. |

Dose Size Rules |
Displays Yes if the Trade Name/Manufacturer Code has an associated Dose Size Rule. |

Route Rules |
Displays Yes if the Trade Name/Manufacturer Code has an associated Route Rule. |

Site Rules |
Displays Yes if the Trade Name/Manufacturer Code has an associated Site Rule. |

Current Cost |
Displays the Current Cost associated with the Trade Name/Manufacturer Code. |

Clicking the Add button will take the user to the Dose Size Rules Tab in order to add new rules for the Trade Name and Manufacturer selected from the Trade Name and Manufacturer pick lists. |

Clicking the Delete button will delete all Trade Name rules in corresponding rows of check boxes that are selected in the Select column. |
Dose Size Rules Tab - This tab displays two sections as described below as well as command button functionality being described below.
Dose Size Rules Section - This section allows the user to add a Licensure Age Rule, Acceptable Age Rule, and a Dose Size Rule to the trade name with the fields described below.

Begin Date |
The Begin Date is a required field. The Begin Date text box will specify when the specified rules will begin to be evaluated according to date of administration of these trade names to patients in the registry. |

End Date |
The End Date text box will specify when the specified rules will end being evaluated according to date of administration of these trade names to patients in the registry. |

Licensure Minimum Age |
The Licensure Minimum Age displays a text box to specify the minimum age of when the Trade Name is licensed to be used by patients. It also has an age interval pick list that the user can select the appropriate age interval for the specified age in the text box. If not specified the value will be specified as being 0 days and will not be evaluated. |

Licensure Maximum Age |
The Licensure Maximum Age displays a text box to specify the maximum age of when the Trade Name is licensed to be used by patients. It also has an age interval pick list that the user can select the appropriate age interval for the specified age in the text box. If not specified the value will be specified as being 0 days and will not be evaluated. |

Acceptable Minimum Age |
The Acceptable Minimum Age displays a text box to specify the minimum age of when the Trade Name is acceptable to be used by patients according to ACIP interpretations of the Trade Name. It also has an age interval pick list that the user can select the appropriate age interval for the specified age in the text box. If not specified the value will be specified as being 0 days and will not be evaluated. |

The Acceptable Maximum Age displays a text box to specify the maximum age of when the Trade Name is acceptable to be used by patients according to ACIP interpretations of the Trade Name. It also has an age interval pick list that the user can select the appropriate age interval for the specified age in the text box. Dose Size |
The Dose Size is required to be specified. The Dose Size pick list displays and is the Dose Size that is appropriate for the specified ages and Begin and End Dates specified for the rule being added. |
