Combination Vaccine Group Information |
Purpose |
The Combination Vaccine Group Information screen allows a user to modify or delete existing combination vaccine groups or add new series combination vaccine groups.

Displays the current combination vaccine group name the user is modifying/creating. |

Complete Combination Vaccine Group Tab - The Complete Combination Vaccine Group Tab displays a summary of the whole combination vaccine group and displays in 4 separate tables described in the tables below.
Vaccine Groups Combined Table - Displays rules that are associated with the combination vaccine group.

Combine Immunization Series Table - Displays the combination vaccine group name and the selected vaccine groups that are included in the combination vaccine group.

Combine Forecast Dates Table - Displays the selected Combine Forecast Date option ('select earliest' or 'select latest') for the forecasted dates of the Combination Vaccine Group.

Combine Forecast Status Table - Displays the selected Vaccine / Series Display value that will be displayed as the recommended vaccine for the combination vaccine group on vaccines recommended sections.

Combination Vaccine Group Tab - The Combination Vaccine Group Tab displays all of the combination vaccine group specific rules displayed in separate sections and tabs as described below.
Combination Vaccine Group Name Section - This section displays combination vaccine group specifics that determine specific rules for the whole combination vaccine group and is described in the table below.

This field is required. This is the display name of the vaccine group that is selected as the combination vaccine group. |
Available Vaccine Groups |
Displays the list of vaccine groups available to be selected to be included in the combination vaccine group. |
Selected Vaccine Groups |
Displays the list of vaccine groups selected to be included in the combination vaccine group. |
Combine Immunization History |
Indicates whether or not the Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the patient Immunization History. |
Combine Immunization Forecast |
Indicates whether or not the Combination Vaccine Group rules are set to be applied to the patient Immunization Forecast. |

Combination Immunization Series Tab - This tab displays the selected vaccine group immunization statuses that roll up into a combination vaccine group immunization status.
Combination Vaccine Group [name] Section - This section contains a table for selecting single-antigen vaccine group statuses that need to be met in order for the corresponding combination vaccine group status to be displayed.

Combination Vaccine Group: [name] |
Displays the Combination Vaccine Group and contains a row of series values up to the maximum number of doses for any of the selected vaccine groups. |
Vaccine Group [1, 2, ...]: [name] |
Displays a column and name for each selected vaccine group included in the combination vaccine group. The number of columns will depend on the number of selected vaccine groups. Each column contains a drop down for each row of the table. The default value is "Select one", and the value cannot be saved. The pick list also contains a list of series values up to the maximum number of doses that exist in a series for the selected vaccine groups. The values in the pick list will be in the format "# of #". The value "Booster" will exist if a 'display as booster' or 'repeating booster dose exists for a series. The value "n/a" exists for the case that one vaccine group series requires less doses than another (i.e. Measles 2, Mumps 2, and Rubella 1.) |
Combine Forecast Dates Tab - This tab displays a section used to combine the forecast dates of multiple vaccine groups.

Earliest Date |
Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest". When combining the Earliest Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Earliest Date. |
Recommended Date |
Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest". When combining the Recommended Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Recommended Date. |
Overdue Date |
Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest". When combining the Overdue Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Overdue Date (or Past Due Date). |
Latest Date |
Displays a drop down list with values "select earliest" and "select latest". When combining the Latest Dates of multiple selected vaccine groups, either the earliest or the latest of the dates can be selected to be displayed as the combination vaccine group's Latest Date. |
Combine Forecast Status Tab - This tab allows the user to select a Vaccine/Series Display value for the combination vaccine group and to set the priority order of forecast statuses.
Vaccine/Series Display drop down - This drop down allows the user to select the vaccine that is displayed for the combination vaccine group in the Vaccine column of the Vaccines Recommended section on screens and reports. The Vaccine/Series Display drop down contains a distinct list of all vaccines associated with the selected vaccine groups.
Forecast Status Priority list box - This list box allows a user to set the priority order of forecast statuses. In the event selected vaccine groups have different statuses upon evaluation of a patient's immunization history and forecast, the forecast status priority will determine the forecast status displayed for the combination vaccine group.

Contraindicate |
A comment exists that contraindicates the vaccine group. A vaccine-specific contraindication does not trigger the contraindicated status. |
Maximum Doses Exceeded |
The number of immunizations administered has reached or exceeded the maximum doses limit for the series. Count of doses does not consider validation. |
Maximum Age Exceeded |
Series has reached the maximum age. |
Immune |
An immunity comment exists for the vaccine group. |
Pending |
Status used when a result read is pending after a Smallpox immunization. |
Recommend |
Patient has reached the forecasted earliest date based on age or interval for the vaccine to be recommended. |
Complete |
Series is Complete. |
Null |
A null status means that the vaccine group will be recommended at some point, but it isn't at the moment because the patient hasn't reached the Earliest Date to receive the current vaccine dose in the series. |
