Manage Transfers Screen

 Purpose

The manage transfers screen is used to create, edit, receive, return, and restock pending or complete outbound, inbound, and historic inventory transfers through the system.

 Column

Description

Create Date

This column displays the transfer or order create date as a hyperlink. (For transfers this will be the date the transfer was created. But for orders this will be the date the order was filled.) Clicking on this hyperlink will take you to various status screens for a transfer or order depending on the status of the order as described below.

  • Internal Transfer not shipped: Will display the Edit Transfer screen.

  • Internal Transfer shipped: Will display the Receive Transfer screen.

  • Receiving Organization Rejects the whole transfer: Will display the View Transfer screen.

  • Receiving Organization Partially Accepts the transfer: Will display the View Transfer screen.

  • Receiving Organization Rejects the whole transfer and Ships doses back: Will display the Restock/Rejected screen.

  • Receiving Organization Partially Accepts the transfer and Ships doses back: Will display the Restock/Rejected screen.

Type

This column displays the type of inventory transfer that took place described below.

  • Transfer: Displays when a transfer took place.

  • Order: Displays when an order took place. Orders will only create transfers when the order has been filled, whether partial or full. Clicking on the hyperlink will display the View Order screen.

  • Rejected: Displays when a rejection was made on a transfer or order. For transfers there will be no hyperlink. But for orders clicking on the hyperlink will display the View Order screen.

Order ID

Displays the Order ID for the order. If this field is blank, it indicates an inventory transfer between ALERT IIS organizations, which is not part of an Order.

Sending Org: Site

This column displays the organization and site within the organization that sent the inventory. NOTE: If the name of the organization and site are exactly the same, only the name of the organization will display.

Receiving Org: Site

This column displays the organization and site within the organization that receives the inventory. NOTE: If the name of the organization and site are exactly the same, only the name of the organization will display.

Ship Date

This column displays the date that the transfer was shipped. This date is set by the sending organization through the Ship Transfer screen.

Receive Date

This column displays the date that the receiving organization accepted the transfer. This date is set by the receiving organization once they make a selection for what to do with the transfer through the Receive Transfer screen.

Return Date

This column displays the date the receiving organization; in the event of a rejection, returns the inventory back to the sender.

This field displays the date the original sending organization; in the event of a rejection and return from the receiving organization, restocks the transfer items back into their inventory.

***This column only displays for historic transfers.

 Command Button Functionality

Command Button

Description

 

Click on the New Transfer button will take the user to the New Transfer screen. Here information can be entered for a new inventory transfer.

 

Click on the Cancel button will take the user to the previous screen.

 

Clicking the Refresh List button will refresh any historical transfers listed based on the dates entered in the From and To text boxes.
