Purpose |
The New Transfer screen is used to setup an inventory transfer in the system. An inventory transfer can take place between two organizations.

Information Provided |
New Transfer Section - In this section the user will be able to select transfer information specified below.
Sending Inventory - A selection from this pick list is required when creating a new transfer. Specify the Sending Inventory information from the information below.
Sending Site pick list - This pick list displays sites that have inventory quantity available for transfer. Selecting an option from the pick list will refresh the Add from Inventory section with available inventory from the selected site.
Receiving Inventory - A selection from either of these pick lists is required when creating a new transfer. Specify the Receiving Inventory information from the information below.
Internal Receiving Site pick list - This section is not used by Oregon Immunization Program.
Receiving Organization pick list - This pick list displays other organizations that are available to receive inventory transfers. Selecting an option from the pick list selects this organization as being the receiving organization for the inventory transfer.
Add from Inventory Section - This section can display inventory from the sending site list according to the specified options below. Inventory will display in a table as well below.

Active and Non-Expired |
Selecting the Active and Non-Expired radio button displays the Inventory for the Sending Inventory Site that is Active and Not Expired. |

Inactive or Expired |
Selecting the Inactive or Expired radio button displays the Inventory for the Sending Inventory Site that is Inactive or is Expired. |

Transfer Quantity |
This column allows the number of doses or the quantity that would be transferred from the lot to be entered into the text box. |

Trade Name |
This column displays the vaccine trade name for the vaccine listed. |
|
Vaccine Group |
This column displays the vaccine group for the vaccine listed. For combo vaccines you will see all the separate vaccine group components for the combo vaccine displayed. |

Lot Number |
This column displays the lot number for the vaccine listed. |
|
Quantity Available |
This column displays the quantity available for transfer with respect to other pending or unshipped transfers. Note: Quantity available is equated by taking quantity on hand minus any pending inventory transfers. Occasionally this may end up being a negative number if for some reason the quantity for pending (unshipped) transfers becomes greater than quantity available. In the event there is a negative number displayed quantity available can be clicked and the user will receive an explanation for the negative number. |

Active |
This column indicates whether the vaccine listed is active or not. Expired or Inactive Inventory is allowed to be transferred. This may be necessary when sending expired inventory back to the state. |

Funding Source |
This column indicates the funding source of the vaccine listed. |
|
Expiration Date |
This column displays the expiration date for the vaccine lot listed. |

Clicking the Save button will save the transfer and display the edit transfer screen. |

Clicking the Cancel button will return the user to the manage transfer screen. Any changes made to the new transfer screen will not be saved. |
